SUES Academic, led by Vice President Academic Dannier Xiao, is committed to developing student experiences and career development for our members. In a typical academic year, SUES Academic hosts many events including the annual Academic Tour, visits to companies and external speakers.

Furthermore, SUES Academic supports our associate society - Toastrack.

A REFLECTION OF LAST ACADEMIC YEAR

Last year was very exciting in SUES Academic. The Annual Academic Tour to Barcelona and the Airbus Factory proved very successful, receiving positive feedback from the members who went. The visit from Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace was also extremely engaging; preparing and offering guidance to our members for the all-important Assessment Centre element of job interviews. Company visits, including one to Leonardo, was very useful for members when making informed decisions regarding applying for internships, graduate schemes and future decisions.
